Important Information for Rehired Colleagues

If you are being rehired within 30 days of your termination date with Pfizer, in general, your prior health and insurance elections will be reinstated, and you will not be able to make changes. Special rules apply if you were previously enrolled in the Health Savings Account (HSA) or Vacation Purchase Program. Contact Fidelity at the Pfizer Benefits Center for details.

However, if you are rehired and your rehire date is within 30 days but is in a different plan year (e.g. terminated December 2025 and rehired January 2026), or you are rehired more than 30 days after your termination date or your benefits eligibility is changing when you are rehired (e.g. first hired as a contractor then rehired as a full-time employee), you will be required to make new elections in accordance with the rules for new hires/newly eligible colleagues (i.e., you must enroll within 31 days of your eligibility date ).
