Employee Assistance Program through Spring Health
No cost 24/7 confidential assistance available to all
Pfizer’s employee assistance program (EAP), administered by Spring Health, offers confidential mental health support at no cost to you and eligible family members living in your homeThe benefit includes up to 12 therapy and coaching sessions per person, per year and covers a range of family, personal, and/or work issues, such as managing a difficult conversation with a loved one or someone at work, getting help dealing with a stressful situation, or talking with someone if you feel overly anxious or depressed.
If you and your family members are covered under Pfizer’s U.S. medical plan, once your Company provided sessions are exhausted you will be able to continue to access Spring Health as an in-network through your Pfizer medical coverage (regardless of whether you are enrolled with Horizon or UHC). Your cost for therapy services are based on the applicable in-network copay or coinsurance that applies under your Pfizer medical option.

Optum (for UHC members)
Confidential assistance that’s part of your UHC medical coverage
If you’re enrolled in a Pfizer medical option through UHC, Optum provides support for a variety of mental health concerns from chronic stress to more complex issues, including substance use, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Optum also provides services for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Optum provides claims administration and a provider network where you can get help creating a treatment plan for mental health or substance use that meets your individual needs.
Costs for care are based on the applicable copay or coinsurance that applies under your Pfizer medical option.
Through Optum, you and your covered dependents under a Pfizer Medical Plan through UHC also have in-network access to Spring Health for both virtual and in-person visits.Â

Horizon provides the claims administration and provider networks who can help create a treatment plan for mental health or substance use that meets your individual needs.

Pfizer’s medical plan under Horizon also offers you and your covered dependents in-network access to Spring Health care virtual and in-person visits.Â
