Caring for A Loved One
with Autism or Other Developmental Disability
If you are caring for a family member with a developmental disability, Pfizer benefits can help. For more information on specific benefits that support U.S. colleagues or their loved ones who are disabled or who are neurodivergent, review our Colleagues with Disabilities and Neurodiversity guide.
Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy
If you are enrolled in a U.S. Pfizer Medical Plan, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services are available with pre-authorization through the Plan’s mental health coverage. Regardless of whether your ABA provider is in-network or out-of-network, contact your medical plan administrator to pre-authorize services for the covered family member who has already been diagnosed with autism.
