Optum (for UHC members)

Confidential assistance that’s part of your UHC medical coverage

If you’re enrolled in a Pfizer medical option through UHC, Optum provides support for a variety of mental health concerns from chronic stress to more complex issues, including substance use, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Optum also provides services for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Optum provides the claims administration and provider network who can help create a treatment plan for mental health or substance use that meets your individual needs.

Costs for care (either virtually or in-person) are based on the applicable copay or coinsurance that applies under your Pfizer medical option.

Through Optum, you and your covered dependents under a Pfizer Medical Plan through UHC also have in-network access to Spring Health for both virtual and in-person visits.

Start with an online assessment to help you get the right care and work with a Care Navigator to find the best provider and create a personalized emotional health care plan. Online tools to help with mindfulness, stress management, and meditation are also available at no cost. Note: If you are enrolled with UHC, in-person therapy through Spring Health is also available as a covered in-network service.

Time off policies
