If you’re enrolled in a Pfizer medical option through UHC, Optum provides support for a variety of mental health concerns from chronic stress to more complex issues, including substance use, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Optum also provides services for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Optum provides the claims administration and provider network who can help create a treatment plan for mental health or substance use that meets your individual needs.

Costs for care (either virtually or in-person) are based on the applicable copay or coinsurance that applies under your Pfizer medical option.

Through Optum, you and your covered dependents under a Pfizer Medical Plan through UHC also have in-network access to Spring Health for both virtual and in-person visits.

Horizon

If you’re enrolled in a Pfizer medical option through Horizon, Horizon provides support for a variety of mental health concerns from chronic stress to more complex issues, including substance use, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Horizon provides the claims administration and provider networks who can help create a treatment plan for mental health or substance use that meets your individual needs.

Through Horizon, you and your covered dependents under a Pfizer Medical Plan through Horizon also have in-network access to Spring Health for virtual visits only.

Spring Health (ages 6+)

Spring Health provides in-network virtual therapy leveraging technology if you’re enrolled in a Pfizer medical option. Start with an online assessment to help you get the right care and work with a Care Navigator to find the best provider and create a personalized emotional health care plan. Costs for therapy services (either virtually or in-person) are based on the applicable copay or coinsurance that applies under your Pfizer medical option. Online tools to help with mindfulness, stress management, and meditation are also available at no cost. Note: If you are enrolled with UHC, in-person therapy through Spring Health is also available as a covered in-network service.

Get help navigating a serious or complex health issue such as cancer, a major surgery, or a complex behavioral health or substance use issue. Expert Medical Opinion Service through Health Navigator, powered by PinnacleCare will coordinate with you to confirm your diagnosis and treatment plan to get you to the best provider and most effective treatment quickly. It is not intended for medical emergencies.

Healthy Pfizer Living

No cost 24/7 confidential assistance

Pfizer’s employee assistance program, administered by Kepro, offers confidential assistance and referrals at no cost to you and family members living in your home. Get help with family issues, caregiving, geriatric assessment and more. The benefit includes up to eight virtual or in-person counseling sessions (per issue per year) and covers a range of family/personal and work issues such as managing a difficult conversation with a loved one or someone at work, getting help dealing with a stressful situation, or talking with someone if you feel overly anxious or depressed.
